Tragedy Strikes Anala Family as Three Siblings Die Within Five Months

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the family of Squadron Leader Peter Anala has endured the devastating loss of three siblings in just five months.

The first tragedy occurred on March 31, 2025, when their senior sister, Grace Lena Anala, passed away in Virginia, USA. Her burial took place on June 2, 2025 in Virginia, in a service officiated by her younger brother, Rev. Fr. Anthony Anala SVD, a Catholic priest serving in Mississippi.

Just weeks later, grief struck again. Rev. Fr. Anthony Anala SVD died on June 20, 2025, and was laid to rest on June 24, 2025.

The family’s sorrow deepened further when Squadron Leader Peter Anala, the youngest of the siblings, tragically lost his life in the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash near Obuasi, Ghana — an accident that claimed the lives of several military personnel.
