Shatta Wale had voluntarily reported to EOCO over a tax probe in respect of his yellow Lamborghini and is currently in custody
Dancehall icon Shatta Wale, in real life Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior, is now in custody after voluntarily reporting to the Economic and Organised Crime Office with regards to the payment of taxes on his yellow Lamborghini. He was assisted into the premises by his attorney Cephas Biyuo to facilitate the investigations.
His management have tried to reassure the fans that the legal team of Shatta Wale are working very well with the authorities and are doing all they can to secure his release as soon as possible.
They asked his “SM Family” to remain calm and accept the developments officially without speculations, as they hold a firm faith in the judicial process. The team will be back to EOCO again the following morning to resume talks with the investigators.
